Escape to the cultural heart of rural Andalucia

This beautiful home, built over 3 floors, with terrace gardens and pool, nestles within the village of Benamahoma which belongs to the Pueblos Blancos (White Villages) in the Sierra de Grazelema Natural Park (Cadiz).

The village has all the necessary amenities, including bank, superettes, pharmacy, as well as bars and restaurants serving delicious Andalucian cuisine. The perfect antidote to busy city life, Benemahoma is the real rural Spain. Only Spanish is spoken in the village, with very few foreign visitors ever finding their way to this small paradise. With a population of just 500, numbers swell in the summer months to around 2,000 during the Fiesta de Benamahoma (the first weekend in August) which commemorates the victorious Christians’ ousting of the Moors from Spain. In Benemahoma you will find friendly, helpful locals greeting you as you walk its cobblestoned, winding streets. Find out more »
